Partnership Opportunities

At the Samaritan Center, we understand the connectivity of mind-body-spirit and community. We value the opportunity to partner with congregations, clergy, physicians and others who serve in our community. It is our hope that these opportunities will offer several helpful ways to deepen that partnership.

Prayer—commit to pray for the staff, board and clients of the Samaritan Center.

Step By Step Referral Aid (pdf)—a compact handout with practical ideas and tips about making an effective referral to a professional mental health provider

Therapist Treatment Chart (pdf)—a one page summary of common mental health concerns which links professional therapists who offer treatment in those areas.

“Prescription Pad" (pdf)— pads of 50 slips (which resemble a physician’s prescription pad) contain all the information needed for a professional referrer to assist a potential client to schedule a visit.

Bulletin Inserts (new window)—brief educational sheets share simple “What You Can Do” ideas around a relevant topic themed for each month. Perfect for a monthly newsletter or as an insert in worship materials, they are available in 4 formats:

Dear Sam Letters (pdf)—formatted much like a “Dear Abby” column, members of your congregation are invited to write to an expert about their concerns or problems. Each month, two or three letters and their responses will be shared with you for publication in your congregation’s newsletter.

Congregation Assistance Program (new window)—facilitates a partnership between referring clergy and the Samaritan Center to provide services to congregation members through affordable “vouchers.”

Lunch and Learn Sponsorship (new window)—your $150 sponsorship underwrites the cost of one popular Lunch and Learn program. As an expression of our gratitude, we will list your organization/congregation on that luncheon’s print materials, publicity materials and you will be thanked from the podium on the day of the event.
